Q: How do I enable NFC scanning on my iPhone?

A: NFC is automatically enabled on iPhone 7 and later models. To use NFC scanning:

  3. Open the Ascent Head Count app
  4. Tap the scan button and hold your iPhone near the student ID card
Q: The app won't scan my student ID cards. What should I do?

A: Try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Ensure your iPhone supports NFC (iPhone 7 or later)
  • Check that NFC is enabled in Settings
  • Hold the iPhone close to the center of the ID card
  • Make sure the ID card is not damaged or bent
  • Try scanning from different angles
  • Restart the app if scanning continues to fail
Q: How do I sync my data across multiple devices?

A: Your data is automatically synced to our secure cloud servers. Simply sign in with the same credentials on any device to access your data. Make sure you have a stable internet connection for real-time synchronization.
