Frequently Asked Questions
A: NFC is automatically enabled on iPhone 7 and later models. To use NFC scanning:
- Open Settings > Privacy & Security > NFC
- Ensure NFC is turned on
- Open the Ascent Head Count app
- Tap the scan button and hold your iPhone near the student ID card
A: Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure your iPhone supports NFC (iPhone 7 or later)
- Check that NFC is enabled in Settings
- Hold the iPhone close to the center of the ID card
- Make sure the ID card is not damaged or bent
- Try scanning from different angles
- Restart the app if scanning continues to fail
A: Your data is automatically synced to our secure cloud servers. Simply sign in with the same credentials on any device to access your data. Make sure you have a stable internet connection for real-time synchronization.
A: Yes! You can export your data in several formats:
- CSV format for spreadsheet applications
- PDF reports for printing
- Excel files for advanced analysis
Look for the "Export" option in the Reports section of the app.
